Stumpjack Scat and Weekend Music notice from today's Herald Times Reporter

Here's the link to this week's Scat newsletter:

And here's the press release from today's paper:

TWO RIVERS — Manitowoc County natives Dan Walkner and Derek Pritzl each have new CDs out and will have a homecoming at the place where it all started, Stumpjack Coffee Company, 1606 Washington St. The musicians will have a double CD release show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

"Derek and Dan have become a very dynamic duo together, forming the band Crooked Barn in addition to their own individual projects (Dan is with Clovis Mann and Derek recently returned home from an extended nationwide tour)," said David Smith, co-owner of Stumpjack, in a news release. "They complement each other so well. While they are of course very practiced and skilled, their music presents itself as raw and spontaneous, as though it were just a fun jam session rather than two well-rehearsed artists playing off one another's strengths."

Walkner and Pritzl have been collaborating on music since their first meeting at Stumpjack four years ago. This will be their first time back in Two Rivers in more than two years.
