censoring myself

Apologies, but the previous blog post has been temporarily pulled because I was just informed that I jumped the gun a little bit on it and that the source I used for the post had wanted to make the announcement themselves before people like me started yacking about it. I'll repost it after they announce it. For those of you who didn't read the now-deleted post and have no idea what I'm talking about...well, cest la vie, you'll find out again soon enough.

yeah, i didn't think the htr had the power to declare you "master of the universe". call the lawyers and demand an unrecount
They would only be declaring the obvious anyway...that I am indeed the master of the universe. The previous post was accurate, it's just that they want to announce it along with all of the others in a special edition first.
I thought you pulled it because of the "Best OB/GYN" comment.
I was hoping that wasn't the case. I get bored with being the only one around here to post blogpervyness.
Hey, blogpervyness is my middle name...well, actually my middle name is Gustave-Langhorne, but blogpervyness has a more melodic ring to it (and probably nobody will get the Gustave-Langhorne reference anyway).
No, I truly was hoping for a third place finish in the OB/GYN category, as I told everyone and their mother to write me in for that. While I realize that it is highly doubtful that more than a single individual (with the same odd sense of humor as me) likely did write me in for that, the image of my name in the line-up under that category just cracks me up.
Hey, watch it with the comments about the Gustave middle name. My sheriff grandpa was a Gustave. As a child, I loved the name so much that I suggested to my preggers mama that she should name the new baby boy Gus after grandpa. She didn't listen to me.
Anyway, I'll bet Samuel would be proud that you've got that awesome middle name.
Well, you surmised the Langhorne reference (the easier of the two, given how many notable historical figures have that name, and my fondness for works literary).
Now how about the Gustave reference? Hint: you know my background and academic training, and this individual perhaps had as much humility and meekness as I'm thought to possess myself. I quite like him!
Courbet or Flaubert????
Courbet, of course! Well done!
