I had intended by now to post a review of the Wreckless Eric & Amy Rigby performance of last Saturday night, but my Thanksgiving duties have sucked up all of my time. This weekend I ought to have something here about the show.

Tonight we have an art opening for Cheyenne Smith & Sonia Vasquez. It will feature paintings and drawings from the two young artists, which they declare explore "the rad themes of nature & humanity. It'll be groovy." 8:00pm tonight.

Then, tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7pm, John Statz will be here to perform from his catalogue of excellent songs. John now lives in Denver but is back in sconny for a visit and a string of performances. He's a very talented singer/songwriter with a folk/country/indie vibe. His latest release, Ghost Towns, is awesome (my standard line has been that it's one of the best releases of 2010 from any artist in the music business).
